“Humpty Dumpty”, like the nursery rhyme of the same title, features a precariously perched egg. With its golden color, and pointy suggestion of a crown, it brings to mind the king referenced in that rhyme. As the wind blows, the egg teeters and spins on top of four shifting block-like forms. At one moment, the blocks may align to resemble a wall, then, at another, they seem to scatter in disarray, allowing the egg to dip toward the ground.
