I was commissioned to create “Aspire” for the GE Aviation facility, in Asheville, NC, where jet engine components are made.  The central conical part of the sculpture is roughly the size and shape of a jet engine.  The two spiraling sections suggest air moving through, and compressing within, a jet engine.
