Lightning Sanctuary is an assembly of abstract forms arranged to suggest rising and twisting movement. The minimal intersections of the forms, and the open spaces in the center, create a slightly unstable, but balanced, feeling. At night the sculpture transforms to a container of light, as the solar-powered lights shine through the tiny openings.
